iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
On Tuesday, Apple announced the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max with ProMotion at its ‘California Streaming‘ virtual keynote. iPhone 13 Pro models are very similar to the iPhone 12 Pro models, featuring a stainless steel frame and flat edges. The powerful and efficient A15 Bionic features a 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, a 5-core GPU power the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. The 16 core neural engine performs up to 15.8 trillion operations per second, enabling Smart HDR 4 and Cinematic mode.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max feature a brighter Super Retina XDR display with up to 1,200 nits peak brightness and ProMotion that can refresh from 10 to 120 times per second. The 120Hz ProMotion combined with the new 5-core GPU on A15 Bionic makes iPhone 13 Pro perfect for gamers. The Super Retina XDR display on the iPhone 13 series is protected with Ceramic Shield. It has an industry-leading IP68 rating for water and resistance (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). The 6.1 inches display on the iPhone 13 Pro has a 2532×1170 resolution with 460 pixels per inch, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a 6.7 inches display has a 2778×1284 resolution with 458 pixels per inch.
The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with a 20W charger, support MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W, and Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W. The iPhone 13 Pro series offer an advanced 5G experience that features more 5G bands, allowing for greater coverage and performance. A Smart Data mode automatically switches the iPhone to LTE when 5G speeds aren’t needed to save battery life.
The iPhone 13 Pro features a triple-lens camera setup with an f/1.5 Wide lens, f/2.8 Telephoto lens, an f/1.8 Ultra Wide lens, a LiDAR Scanner on the back, and a 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 on the front. iPhone 13 Pro series has Photographic Styles that apply your preferred Warmth and Tone settings to your photos by simply choosing Apple-designed presets like Rich Contrast, Vibrant, Warm or Cool, and a Cinematic Video mode supporting rack focus. Transitions in the cinematic video happen in real-time when someone enters the frame or looks away. The TrueDepth camera enables Face ID for facial recognition to securely unlock the iPhone. The A15 Bionic’s advanced machine learning algorithms allow Smart HDR 4 with improved color and contrast, improved Night mode, Cinematic mode in Dolby Vision HDR, and HDR video recording in 4K with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps. Apple announced ProRes video recording coming to the 13 Pro series later this year, letting users record ProRes video in 4K at 30 frames per second.
The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are available in four different colors: Silver, Graphite, Gold, and Sierra Blue. The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 (Rs. 1,19,990) for 128GB, $1099 (Rs. 1,29,990) for 256GB, $1299 (Rs. 1,49,990) for 512GB and $1499 (Rs. 1,69,990) for 1TB. The iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1099 (Rs. 1,29,990) for 128GB, $1199 (Rs. 1,39,990) for 256GB, $1399 (Rs. 1,59,990) for 512GB and $1599 (Rs. 1,79,990) for 1TB.
